Since, I have visited my Son in Germany before, My Son got an Obligation letter (Verpflichtungserklärung) prepared which is enclosed along with other necessary documents.

Purpose of my visit is to meet him, my daughter in law and two Grandchildren. I would stay with him in his house during my visit and my living expenses would be covered by him. Being a former Govt employee, I receive monthly pension and have enough funds to cover my cost of travel, flight tickets and health Insurance.

I currently stay in Mumbai with my elder son, have immovable Assets in India and plan to return from Germany on 24.08.2025, like I have done on my previous visits in 2016 and 2022.

Due to the ongoing flight disruptions and cancellations resulting from geo-political tensions, coupled with my desire to visit my grandchildren more frequently, I respectfully request that you consider my application for a *multiple-year visa*. This would allow for flight rebooking if necessary, without the need for repeated visa applications.
